Fine HairHair Types
Fine Hair
Thin individual strands that lift easily and lose that lift just as easily.
Fine hair is easy to move and hard to keep in place. There is very little mass per strand, so it responds instantly to heat and air — and it is quickly overwhelmed by anything with weight or oil in it.
The mistake is treating fine hair like weak hair and reaching for stronger hold. What fine hair needs is grip without weight, applied in a fraction of the amount you would use on thick hair.
